Growing Stronger together

Our history

The WCRC opened on the first Tuesday of June 2010. Within the first six days of operation, the WCRC food pantry served 53 families, representing 209 individuals. By the end of October 2019, the pantry had assisted more than 12,000 families and distributed more than $204,000 in food and supplies. This massive effort was fueled by volunteers who gave over 16,500 hours of their time and individual, businesses, churches, and civic groups who donated generously.

In 2025 we served 5,523 households and 15,124 persons.

293 were new clients.

Our mission

We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. We supply supplemental food to help those in need.  It is because of our wonderful community that we are able to help so many.

our team and volunteers

Our amazing team of regular and part-time volunteers are committed to helping others.

We take our convictions and turn them into action.

We have a dedicated team of 30 volunteers who help with the many and varied tasks and responsibilities to keep the Pantry operating smoothly.

There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes.  We are open two days per week but the work never stops.
